STRETCHED!

During the Christmas season I spent much time thinking about Mary, Jesus, love, hearts:

I think of how Jesus entered Mary's womb! An embryo ...a speck.  He starts to grow! And as he grows he stretches his mother's skin! Thinner and thinner. First a tiny bump appears on the outside....as time goes by the bump grows and Mary's tender young skin stretches to adapt and hold the child within. Soon the stomach is stretched so all can see she is with child!
Similarly when Jesus first entered our hearts He was small! Once we accepted Jesus we too were like the new mother expecting her first child!
Overcome with Wonderment..awed..everything is a first . We want the world to know. Too See.
 But can we ever...ever.  COMPREHEND the true meaning of accepting Jesus into our hearts! How our lives will be changed forever! 

Like Mary or any new mother our world will never be the same!
The embryo is attached to the wall of the Mothers uterus by the umbilical cord!
 ...the umbilical serves to feed the child...nourish it with oxygenated nutrients.
Jesus becomes our umbilical cord.  We are tether to Him...He is our supple line our oxygen. Our life line.. Too God!
 His words feeds us...they breath for us through the Holy Spirit who lives within us! We are at last truly alive because He lives within us!
 Our hearts stretch out of our love - a love for Him - !  We change...
And that infant we are when first saved grows and matures. Hearts pregnant with joy and love. Overflowing with peace ....becoming so huge it all but pops out of the chest! Spreading love....giving love...giving goodness...giving praise to Him...
Sharing Him with others! What an incredible birth!
What a gift!
